Images
[edit]I don't know how to properly add the images, but some of the images in the Catalan wikipedia are very good indeed and should be added:
- A late northwestern (aka Levantine) Iberian signary (c. II-I BC)
http://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imatge:Un_signari_ib%C3%A8ric_nord-oriental.jpg
- An ancient northwestern Iberian signary (dual system; marking voiced/voiceless stops). ( IV-III BC)
http://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imatge:Un_signari_ib%C3%A8ric_nord-oriental_dual.jpg
(both tables are excelent and accurate)
- Paleohispanic writing systems map.
- lead plaque from Penya del Moro (Barcelona) (IV BC)
http://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imatge:Penya_del_Moro_Plaqueta_de_plom_Inscripci%C3%B3.jpg
- lead plaque from Ullastret ([Girona]]) (not as good as it shuould) (IV BC)
http://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imatge:Bronce_ibero.jpg
On the images now in the article:
Botorrita is a Celtiberian inscription and should be rather in Celtiberian script
the modern Pamplona inscription (using Iberian signs but badly used, as in the XIXth century Iberian script hadn't been deciphered, to write in Basque language) maybe shouldn't be here.

Deleting the link
[edit]Very interesting the reasons by which the link is removed [1] as the assumed "shop" is the publishing house, and offers to download the whole book for free at the menu in the deleted link (you can also buy the book, but that's another question)and there's only an acrobat file to the whole book (free, remember this). Too many mistakes!!!. --Dilvish 10 words 23:54, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
Celtiberian
[edit]Per Daniels & Bright, when the Celt-Iberians adapted the northeastern Iberian script, they dropped the syllabic portion and replaced it with Greek Β, Γ, Δ, Κ, Π, Τ. This seems to be contradicted elsewhere. Is Pierre Swiggers (who wrote that chapter) just wrong? kwami (talk) 06:47, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, if it says that, then he's wrong. You can see details on the Celtiberian inscriptions in the Stifter pdf (keltiberisch1 to 5) at [[2]]. --Dilvish 10 words (talk) 13:32, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

Vasconic script
[edit]With the discovery of the Hand of Irulegi, a new subform of the Iberian script has been proposed. Maybe a short paragraph mentioning this could be added to this article?
